Henry Radel, the congressman from Florida who has pleaded guilty to cocaine possession, recently supported an effort to make all food-stamp applicants pass a drug test.
It is fascinating to speculate what Boehner´s team would be saying on all the cable shows if it had been a Democratic Representative. Somehow I just think all the right-wingers would be in a frenzy to get in front of a camera and demand he resign. In this case, Boehner is reported to have urged Radel not to resign (and risk losing a seat in a special election).
