Enjoy the cartoon, of course, but have to say it doesn't really do justice to the spirit of Yogi.

Couple things that don't seem to have any connection with your blog recently:

The Drew Peterson jury came back with a question, "What does 'unanimous' mean?" This may be a jury of somebody's peers, but I don't think it is a jury comprised of peers to most of us?

A study was released by the Institute of Medicine concluding that the country's health care is a mess and it wastes money. Don't know yet what ax is being ground by this group, but wait for the rest of it, I guess.

Bob - If my blog has ignored the Drew Peterson case, it's because I never heard of it until you mentioned it. I have since googled the name and at least know what you're talking about.

I quit following sensational murder cases years ago, which is much easier to do if one decides to never watch TV "news" programs. Before I moved to Brasil, I used to at least have enough connection with current events to know what stories I was ignoring; now, apparently I have slipped.

I do recall another case in California six or seven years ago when another person named Peterson killed his wife. Are you all related?

Everyone must have an ax to grind? Can anyone doubt that our health care system is a mess and that it wastes money (as in fee-for-service charges)? I recommend the following op-ed piece from yesterday: http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/09/05/the-arkansas-innovation/
