Whitewashing Gay History
This is a long article, but it's by Frank Rich, who I admire tremendously. His weekly column in the Sunday NY Times was a ritual for so many years. Then he quit about a year ago to go to New York magazine, where he would have the opportunity to do some longer, in-depth pieces.
I like to remind Heitor that Rich began his career as a movie critic.
It is sad that even a person as enlightened as Frank Rich still needs to make reference to his wife in the first paragraph, lest there be any misunderstanding, don't you know.
